Training course -abseiling
As part of our ongoing training programme, in November, Outdoor Living staff attended a 3-day intensive course on abseiling techniques. The aim of the course was for the staff to do a revision on basic subjects such as anchorages and rigging, and also to update their knowledge and skills on basic rescue methods and first aid. The course covered topics such as EU norms and certifications, knots and ropes, safety procedures and care and maintenance of all hardware.
